Raw materials are ultimately the key to Geberit’s success figures. It all starts with them, nothing is possible without them. It is no wonder, then, that raw materials and materials derived from them are also an important cost factor. In the last financial year, they accounted for around 50% of the operating expenses of 1.55 billion Swiss francs. This, however, is not enough to explain the fascination these materials can exert.
